Hello Mr. and Mrs. Oliphint, We are having our first annual Sunset Hills Elementary School HERO award assembly this Wednesday, and Christoffer will be one of our 6th grade students who will be recognized. I apologize for the late notice but ...we have been busy scoring the hundreds of student essays. Please keep this quiet until tomorrow, when we will be notifying students in person. We welcome you to attend our entire school presentation this Wednesday at 10:00 on the field.
Your son is amazing! Thank you, Karen Winterstein-Principal

Mrs. Butler (school counselor) with Christoffer. She helped start this new program and was one of the readers of all the 100's of essays that were wrote.
We took the special guy out to Dinner to his favorite place! Olive Garden.
Jaxxon wanted to hang with Chris at the Awards Assembly.
It reads...SHES (Sunset Hills Elementary School) Leaders.
Every 6th grader had to write an essay on someone they thought was a hero to them. (the person had to be another 6th grader) The students had to write about who was their hero and why they were a hero to them. It had to be based on the six pillars of character and how they act with integrity even when no one is looking or around. They had to pick a student who they look up to. Who demonstrates all the pillars of character at all times. The Six Pillars are, Trustworthy-ness, Fairness, Respect, Citizenship, Responsibility, and Caring. There is over 120 kids in 6th grade.
His SPECIAL shirt! Love the back!
Christoffer wouldn't stop taking pics with his Momma. So Daddy kept snapping the camera. I have a bunch of silly ones. He was being such a ham in the resturant. I think he was still on his "high" from the day.
